Our Story

Founded by students. Driven by compassion.

The Addiction Awareness Association, founded in 2024, focuses on raising holistic awareness about substance use disorders and providing support for individuals on the path to recovery. Our organization has expanded to high schools and colleges across the country, offering educational resources and ways to engage actively in the cause.

We acknowledge addiction not as a moral failing, but as a disease with biological, psychological, and social factors.

Our Work

Four pillars, one mission.

Our organization is driven by four fundamental values: service, education, rehabilitation, and advocacy.

01

Service

We serve individuals, communities, and high-risk populations impacted by addiction, meeting people where they are with empathy and action.

02

Education

We spread awareness with open minds and open hearts, breaking down myths, starting difficult conversations, and inspiring changemakers.

03

Rehabilitation

We stand alongside people on the road to recovery and support the programs that make healing and second chances possible.

04

Advocacy

We use student voices to advance compassionate policy, expand access to care, and challenge cycles of stigma.

Impact Hub

Every chapter. Every event. One picture of impact.

Our Impact Hub brings together event reports from all nine chapters: volunteer hours, naloxone kits distributed, community partnerships, and the stories behind them, all in live dashboards and grant-ready reports.
